Being put into a position where I wasn’t sure whether I’d be able to see or not has lead me to taking steps to see the world from a different angle.

My love for photography began when I was about 21 when I first got to play with a digital camera that a family member had brought from overseas for the vacation snaps. At the time it was one of the first commercial point-and-shoot cameras with decent features and decent optics and resolution. I’d always been a creative person, so getting to the art of taking a photo and making an image was a fairly natural evolution for me.
